cellblood:

hello… i have not posted here in a while and am unlikely to post here (or on triple F) again any time soon, for misc personal reasons of wanting to be left alone & also not feeling that its right for me to have any kind of large platform since i dont want to be a leader of any type in any community and dont like my unsure, personal thoughts being taken as serious argument, since i didnt and dont know anything and no longer agree with some of my past posts at all.

however i did want to say that i am doing alright and did not stop posting for any reasons to do with something bad happening (other than abstract paranoia about wanting to avoid being publicly on this site bc of personal reasons again) and i dont mind anyone still following here or on FFF since i will update them if i do have a reason to. you may also, of course, unfollow them

i know i stopped posted suddenly so if anyone has been worried about us i wanted to say that we are not in a bad state. things are difficult as always but we are doing our best and some things lately have been good

it may be good to revisit these blogs occasionally since of everything, even among difficult things about having large blogs, i do miss being able to say hello to those who felt supported here & i do miss being able to lend support

and now for the sake of it, here is my favorite photo of a ghost

well it posts large now. thank you

in regards to the post about affirming your heterosexuality at a gay event, is it okay to politely deny advances by revealing your heterosexuality?

i think you could say “no thanks” to an advance you arent interested in just as easily as “no thanks, im straight” because you would probably not say “no thanks, im straight” to someone you didnt like who was approaching you in a straight way. if you want to say no thanks + im straight thats your business but maybe think about why your straightness is so important to clarify

Why don't you want your posts tagged unreal? That tag is for sufferers of mental illness who really benefit from being able to hide things that can send them into panic attacks and psychotic episodes. It has nothing to do with belief.

Well actually im mentally ill myself and i dont like it when people tag my posts unreality it makes me Uncomfortable. and i hardly post on this blog any more so just dont reblog my posts. its fine you can rebog somebody elses posts. itll be ok. Goodnight

@everybody hi were still shitposting / art posting over on cellblood and much less nervous over there somehow but most likely will keep reblogging resource posts over here since it has a large amount of followers + quite a few resource posts on it already

sorry for all the uncertainty and changes in plan weve been wild and doing our best to get calm and figure out the best way to continue blogging with as little stress as possible

if you identify as cis but haven’t actually taken time to sit down and examine and analyze your gender identity, it’s probably time to do that otherwise you’ve just given in to society forcing a significant part of your identity upon you.

if someones comfortable with their gender identity to the point that its not even on their mind then theres no need for them to analyse it

as someone who basically identifies as cis i think it’s very much important to examine your gender identity. it might lead to small things: e.g. after i did that i stopped shaving because i realized that i wasn’t doing it for myself. further, i’ve stopped seeing my own face as a gendered thing and this makes it easier for me to be respectful of the identities of others, and easier to be happy with the meatsack i live in. i think that it’s very important for cis people to consider what aspects of gendered existence we hold sacred. peeing in a segregated space? if so, why? i mean this is exactly the kind of question trans communities have been trying to get us to deal with forever and i think that answering it on a cultural level will come with exactly the type of introspection that OP is asking for.

some of the best advice i’ve got in college so far is “make strange what is comfortable” and hey, after you take it apart, you can put it right back together again if that’s what makes you happy but it’s still important to evaluate why you perform your gender the way you do and what rituals are essential to that? why are they essential? are they worth perpetuating? the answer might not always be yes EVEN for people comfortable with the label of their gender assigned at birth
